On the Stubai Glacier, also known as the „Kingdom of Snow“, you will experience a fascinating world of snow and ice. Due to its high altitude of 1750 to 3210 meters, there is no shortage of snow in Austria’s largest ski area. In fact, snowfall from October to June is guaranteed in this year-round ski area. The variety of pistes (in the categories blue, red and black) and ski-routes means that skiers of all abilities can find their perfect slope. There are modern lifts and cable cars on hand to help you get the most out of your skiing and snowboarding; these include: gondola lifts, chair lifts (six, quad and double), towing and children’s lifts as well as magic carpets for children. In the summer, the glacier is also popular with hikers and mountaineers. From the Zuckerhütl, the glacier’s highest mountain, you get an incredible panoramic view of countless other summits, stretching as far as the eye can see.
